Wedding photographers in Leeds | Abbie & Tom | Leeds Wedding Photographers West Yorkshire
I met Abbie & Tom at the Chevin Lodge Hotel & Spa wedding fair last year and was so happy when they booked me to photograph their wedding at this beautiful Yorkshire Countryside wedding venue. They were married in church just 5 minutes away from their home then we headed to the cricket ground for photographs where Tom has played the sport since he was very young.
My day began at their home photographing the bridal preparations with Abbie and her bridesmaids. Abbies Mum was also there. Their morning was fun, happy and relaxed. All the girls were enjoying a glass of bubbly whilst having their hair and make-up done.
The morning was seamless with the hairdresser working her magic downstairs and the make-up artist working upstairs with the girls.
None of the bridesmaids had seen her wedding dress so it was a lovely surprise when they saw her for the first time.
Abbie was ready nice and early so it gave us the opportunity to grab some bridal portraits before we left for church.
I then headed to the church in Calverley to meet Tom and his groomsmen, it was so hot!! a welcome sunny day after the terrible rain we had had the week before.
Abbie arrived exactly on time in her classic convertible car with her Dad by her side. She was greeted by her bridesmaids and headed down to church ready for her beautiful entrance.
After everyone had had chance to greet the bride and groom, we headed over to the cricket field for photographs with the bridal party.
Then we headed to the wedding reception at Chevin Lodge Hotel & Spa in Otley. We arrived there and all the guests were enjoying welcome drinks in the sunshine on the terrace by the lake.
After a little time relaxing in the grounds they were called inside for the wedding breakfast. The room was a beautiful pale pink theme, it looked stunning and fitted in perfectly with their pastel colour theme.
The speeches were delivered in style, the meal was enjoyed by all then we headed out into the gorgeous evening sunshine for the bride and groom wedding photographs which were taken by the lake side then onto Otley Chevin for sunset wedding photographs.
Once we arrived back to the Hotel it was time for their first dance and cake cutting. I stayed a little longer to photograph everyone having fun on the dancefloor!!
