Rolling back the months to July last year. Ed and Camilla were married in a gorgeous little Yorkshire Church in Denton, West Yorkshire. This beautiful wedding ceremony was followed by a very elegant marquee wedding reception very close to their home. Everything about this day was stylish and had been planned to perfection – a perfect Yorkshire wedding.

I met with Camilla and her girls at her home. A beautiful little country cottage in the heart of the Yorkshire countryside. With so much stone and dark wood beams to work with this made the perfect location for the detail shots.  Camilla wore the most elegant wedding gown by designer Mark Lesley. Camilla and her bridesmaids were getting ready in the lounge. They had the fabulous Yorkshire Wedding hair and make up artists Daryl Shipp who did all their make up and for hair Sacha Jones of LS29 in Ilkley.

The natural light coming through the cottage window was beautiful, teamed with the dark wood decor created a perfect setting for their bridal prep photographs. I headed over to the church in Denton to meet Ed and the groomsmen. They were all wearing morning suits. Each groomsman had a different waistcoat which added variety and worked perfectly with the theme of the wedding.  As the guests assembled inside the church Camilla arrived in a beautiful vintage Rolls Royce which they hired from West Yorkshire Wedding Cars The weather was absolutely beautiful and from the moment she arrived we were blessed with bright summer sunshine.  The Ceremony Straight from the church we headed up onto Timble Moor to get some bride and groom portraits using the stunning scenery to create a picturesque backdrop. It was so so windy, The veil looked absolutely beautiful blowing in the wind.  Being a Yorkshire Wedding Photographer I am lucky enough to capture lots of countryside photographs.

When we arrived at the marquee all their friends and family were enjoying the drinks reception whilst looking out over the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. Being out in the wide open field meant it was super windy but luckily it was such a warm day that it didn’t really matter. If you’re going to book a marquee wedding in Yorkshire its bound to be a little breezy out in the open fields!!The bridal party carried the most beautiful elegant wedding bouquets containing white hydrangea and foliage which had been created by the fabulous Yorkshire wedding florist Paperwhite Flowers who also created a stunning floral wreath which hung up in the marquee and looked incredible.  After the speeches we headed outside and were treated to an amazing sunset. It was bright, vibrant and dreamy! We dashed out to get some sunset wedding photos for Ed and Camilla to cherish forever. It was the perfect end to the perfect day before the party kicked off in full force.  Thankyou so much for taking the time to look through this gorgeous Yorkshire wedding photography blog.
