Charlotte & Korey held their amazing Yorkshire wedding at Oulton Hall in Leeds last summer. This luxury Yorkshire wedding venue is set among spectacular scenery; a Georgian mansion with elegant bedrooms, the most amazing staircase, beautiful interior and lots of chandeliers to add that extra sparkle. It is such a fabulous wedding venue for wedding photographers in Leeds to capture the most amazing memories.
It was my second visit to Oulton Hall and it was absolutely beautiful. I arrived nice and early to join Charlotte and her girls during bridal prep which was held in a beautiful suite with ample space and huge great big windows which flooded the room with daylight, perfect for natural light wedding photographers in Yorkshire. Charlotte and her girls enjoyed the morning being pampered by the brilliant Yorkshire based wedding hair and make up artist, Brittany-Jae who I have worked alongside many times in the past. Her work is flawless and always lasts from morning till night.
Once the girls were all ready, I headed down to meet Korey and his groomsmen. They were in the bar having a drink and greeting guests. We headed outside for a few pictures before going back inside. The ceremony room was absolutely beautiful. With gorgeous flowers created by Yorkshire wedding florist Mrs Bouquets.
Charlotte made her way down to the ceremony room, along the breathtaking balcony leading to the grand staircase with her Dad by her side and her bridesmaids ready to assist with her stunning Justin Alexander wedding dress.
Charlotte entered the ceremony room through the large doors at the top of the aisle where Korey waited calmly at the end for her grand entrance – she did not disappoint. The whole room gazed as she walked arm in arm with her Dad before they met at the end of the aisle. They exchanged vows amongst their closest friends and family before heading into the grounds for drinks reception and photographs.
Charlotte and Korey were invited indoors by the venue staff to view the room ahead of the wedding breakfast. It was truly breathtaking, every single detail just looked incredible. The scent from the beautiful wedding flowers circulated in the air. The delicate, neutral tones of blue and white complimented the room perfectly. Charlotte & Korey chose an intricate crafted wedding cake created by Cheryl Bottomley Cakes, It smelt divine. Once they had seen the room, the guests were called in. It was that time of day….speeches and wedding breakfast.
We took the opportunity after the meal to head into the grounds to capture some relaxed portrait photographs. The sun was nice and low which meant the light was beautiful. We made use of the building too, the stunning architecture makes it one of the best wedding venues in Yorkshire. I love using it throughout the day as a backdrop.
Then it was time to party!! with first dance and cake cutting taking place on the dance floor and everyone enjoying the music.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this Oulton Hall wedding photography blog.
