Holiday Inn Leeds Weddings | Sara & Shaun | Wedding Photographers In Leeds
This was my first wedding at the Holiday Inn Leeds, Sarah & Shaun were married in November last year and when I arrived at the wedding venue I was greeted with the most amazing sea of autumnal trees lining the gardens at the side of the hotel. Sara was always very keen on having lots of outdoor wedding photographs regardless of the weather and despite it being winter we could not of asked for better. The sky was punchy and pretty, the light was stunning for most of the day and the gardens were bright and colourful!!
I joined the the bridal party briefly to grab a few prep shots which were all well under way. I had total shoe envy, Sara had treated herself to a pair of Jimmy Choo bridal shoes, she managed to wear them all day and night and they just added the perfect finishing touch to her stunning hand made wedding dress which was designed and created by one of her friends.
I joined the boys outside to grab a few shots of them in the grounds of the hotel.
Everyone gathered in the cosy bar area of the hotel and then they were called through to the ceremony room which had been decorated with a very pretty backdrop curtain which had tiny little fairy lights.
Then the bride and groom led the way into the beautiful autumnal gardens surrounding their West Yorkshire wedding venue. They were showered with confetti and rice by all their guests!!
Then we did the formals in the grounds with the bright, autumn coloured trees as the perfect wedding photography backdrop.
Saras bridesmaids wore very pale blush pink bridesmaids dresses and shawls to keep them nice and warm, the girls were so lovely and relaxed together. They all carried artificial wedding flowers which had all being handmade.
Everyone else headed indoors and we went for a stroll in the pretty grounds of their wedding venue to create some beautiful relaxed wedding photographs for them to cherish forever!
The contrast between the Yellow autumn leaves, the bright green grass and the crisp blue sky made this wedding photography album one of the most colourful I have created to date.
We then went back indoors, it gave me a few minutes to get the detail shots of the wedding breakfast room before the guests were called in to eat. The speeches were before the meal with speeches from the groom, the father of the bride and then finished off with Shauns best men providing lots of laughs for everyone.
Then outside for sunset wedding photography……….
Followed by their evening reception and first dance photography. Shaun and the chaps had a few games of Pool and a few drinks in the bar with a shot to toast and celebrate the happy couple!
