Braisty Woods Estate Wedding Photography Yorkshire | Sarah & Kieran | Weddings at Bolton Abbey Priory Church
Seems so long ago since Sarah & Kierans amazing Yorkshire countryside wedding at Braisty Estate in North Yorkshire. The bridal preparations took place at a beautiful cottage in the heart of the countryside just a few miles away. Sarah was there with her bridesmaids and parents and as i arrived the Wedding hair and make up were well under way by the team from Beauty Box in Otley. It was nice and relaxed and as I was there in good time it gave me the opportunity to take photographs of all the details. The wedding flowers had already been delivered, they were provided by the fabulous Yorkshire wedding florists Leafy Couture.
Sarah and her bridesmaids were all ready in good time which gave us chance to take some natural light bridal portrait photographs by the window and also some bride and bridesmaid photographs outside before the wedding cars arrived to take them to church.
Sarahs parents looked so proud as they watched on and waited for the wedding car to arrive to take them to church. Their wedding car was a very modern chauffeur driven Landrover which looked very slick and stylish. They had their wedding at Bolton Abbey priory which not only stands amongst some of the most breath taking scenery in the country but it is also in my opinion one of the most beautiful Yorkshire Wedding Venues around!! The light is truly amazing and the inside of the church has that amazing wow factor. I arrived at the church just before the groom and his groomsmen. As the guests began to arrive at church we did some photographs of the boys together.
Once they groomsmen photographs were done they headed in side to await Sarahs arrival. The church choir were singing beautifully to welcome her into the church.

We did the family group photographs outside the church which looked stunning against the old stone then once everyone had jumped on the busses we headed off to capture some bride and groom wedding photographs in the ruins outside Bolton Abbey Priory.
We then headed off to the beautiful Braisty Woods Estate, one of the most amazing and relaxed Yorkshire Wedding venues I’ve had the pleasure of working with.
Braisty Woods Estate is entirely an outdoor Yorkshire wedding venue and Sarah and Kieran had hired a tipi from PapaKata which was perfect for their relaxed wedding reception. They had arrival drinks out in the field and then speeches and food followed.
After the wedding breakfast of fish and chips which were supplied by a mobile fish and chip van who cater for outside weddings and functions we headed off for a few more bride and groom portraits. The sky was a gorgeous mixture of colour so we had to include it in the wedding photographs. As the sun was setting everyone was outside on hay bales, having a drink and waiting for the evening celebrations.
I stayed to capture first dance photographs and some party pictures before heading off as it was dropping dark.
What an amazing wedding, as always such a great honour to be a part of it. Please feel free to get in touch through my contact form if you have any questions or would like to enquire about booking your wedding photography.
