Wold Top Brewery Driffield Wedding Photography | Simon & Jess | Bridlington Beach Wedding Photography
I was contact by Jess and Simon quite a while ago to discuss their wedding photography at Wold Top Brewery in Driffield. Its a couple of hours drive from me and surprisingly I had never heard of the amazing outdoor Yorkshire wedding venue but when i arrived for their pre-wedding consultation I wasn’t disappointed. Everything about the Wold Top Brewery was just beautiful. The bridal preparations took place in a little cottage in the grounds where i met Jess, her bridesmaids, best friend Sam and her gorgeous dog!! The room upstairs is just perfect for hair and make up, with beautiful soft light streaming through the huge windows which over look the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. What better way to relax and calm your nerves on one of the most important days of your life.
Whilst preparations were under way I popped over to the camping area to see Simon. The groomsmen were busy getting ready and everyone was chipping in helping to put up tents ready for their overnight stay at the brewery.
As I arrived back with the girls Jess was just having the final touches to her hair and make up.
Jess chose a selection of wild flowers for her beautiful bridal bouquet. There were hand tied and the colours complimented the wedding perfectly.
We headed to Bridlington town hall for their wedding ceremony, I met up with Simon and the groomsmen a little before to grab some photographs of them all together.
The newly Wed Jess & Simon greeted their guests in the lovely gardens at Bridlington town hall then we jumped in the cars and headed off to Bridlington beach for some stunning wedding photographs on the beach …. in England …. and the sun was shining!! It was 2 firsts for me, one taking wedding photographs on the beach and the second being on a UK beach in the sunshine. It usually always rains when I plan a trip to the seaside!!
Then after the wedding photographs on the beach we headed back to the Wold Top Brewery Outdoor wedding venue in Driffield. The guests had already arrived and were enjoying the outdoor drinks reception and platters of food, we stopped on the long winding road on the way up to the carpark to grab a few images in the fields surrounding the brewery.
Guests were entertained by the fantastic Hope street busking band who set up outside and created such a great relaxed atmosphere. Then speeches followed during the drinks reception which were so nice and relaxed out in the sunshine in the pretty courtyard.
We then headed indoors for the wedding breakfast in the cosy intimate indoor area which was set up so neatly in rows of long tables.
The sky was such an amazing colour we headed out for some evening photographs then all that was left then was to party the night away.
