Bolton Abbey Estate Weddings | Phil & Lizzie | West Yorkshire Wedding Photographers

Back in September this year i was honoured to photograph the wedding of Phil & Lizzie. It was a jam packed day full of fun, love & happiness. The day was planned to perfection with the marriage taking place in Lizzies hometown of Otley, West Yorkshire and the wedding reception at Cavendish Pavilion, Bolton Abbey Estate. My day began with Lizzie and her bridesmaids at her parents house. I arrived bright and early to capture the morning preparations. Lizzies Hair was done by Rachel from Innovation Studio in Otley and bridesmaids hair and make up were all done by Natalie Press.

We were able to grab some bridal portraits before I left for church to meet Phil and his best man. When I arrived the groomsmen were there already and were greeting the guests.

Whilst the guests all made their way to Bolton Abbey Cavendish Pavilion for the wedding drinks reception we headed into the beautiful Yorkshire dales for some couple pictures.

Then onto the Cavendish pavilion to join the wedding guests. The wedding breakfast room had been decorated beautifully. The wedding cake was made by Lizzie & Phils good friend who was also a bridesmaid.  Speeches followed on straight after the meal and were made by Lizzies dad, Phil and best man Kieran.

The bridesmaids all wore green dresses. All were different styles and shades and looked so lovely. The flowers were created by Sarah and her team of Leafy Couture which were absolutely stunning.

Then it was onto Bolton Abbey Steam Railway for a ride on the steam engine and afternoon tea and coffee. The guests were taken by vintage busses straight from the pavilion to the station.

Then it was back on the busses to Bolton Abbey the evening reception, the evening was warm and sunny so everyone was outside on the veranda relaxing in the evening sunshine.
